Bellingham, WA : A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on state Route 512 on Friday, September 1, 2017

A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on state Route 512 in Parkland on Thursday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The five-vehicle collision happened about 4:15 p.m. on eastbound SR 512 just before the Steele Street exit, according to State Patrol spokeswoman Brooke Bova.

The crash involved a semitruck, a pickup truck with a flatbed trailer, a second pickup truck, a car and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist died at the scene of the wreck.
