WELLSBURG, IA : 1 person killed, 3 injured in snowstorm crash this week on Friday, 5th February 2021

A chain-reaction caused a fatal crash during the winter storm earlier this week.

It involved eight semi-trucks along Highway 20 near Wellsburg in northern Iowa.

One of the semis was carrying hazardous material, but the Iowa State Patrol said none of the material spilled.

The crash killed one person and injured three others.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
