MONTGOMERY COUNTY, KY : 1 dead after Montgomery Co. crash involving moped on Wednesday, 22nd May 2024

One person is dead after a crash in Montgomery County involving a moped on Wednesday.

Kentucky State Police says Alavez Ojeda-Gonzalo was traveling west on Owingsville Road in Mt. Sterling.

Another car traveling east, driven by 37 year-old Andrew Romans, of Clay City, crossed the center line, striking Ojeda-Gonzalo.

Owens continued travelling east, leaving the roadway.
