Strawberry Plains, TN : Driver cut out of truck after rear-end crash on Highway 11E on Tuesday, 16th October 2018

A Talbott man was injured yesterday morning in Strawberry Plains when his pick-up truck slammed into the back of a dump truck on Highway 11E, troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported.
Rescue workers labored for nearly an hour to free 35-year-old Brandon Darling from the wreckage of the 2005 Ford F150, reported Capt. Sammy Solomon of the New Market Volunteer Fire Department. Assisted by Knox County Rescue Squad and Jefferson City Fire Department, which employed heavy duty rescue tools, the emergency workers removed the roof and passenger door of the truck in order to extricate the victim.
