Lincoln County, N.C : Pedestrian killed in Lincoln County hit-and-run on Wednesday, May 21, 2014

North Carolina state troopers are looking for the driver of a car who hit and killed a woman in Lincoln County then took off.

Authorities said the crash happened at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday on Maiden Highway at Summerow Road.

The vehicle they are looking for will have some type of damage to the headlight or lens cover.

Anyone with information is asked to call state troopers.
