Fort Myers, FL : Driver dies in Fort Myers single-vehicle crash on Monday, November 10, 2014

Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash on Colonial Boulevard just west of Winkler Avenue Extension. Officers say 58-year-old Jacoba Sheridan was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries where she later passed away. According to police, Sheridan was traveling eastbound when the car veered off the south side of the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a wooden utility pole.
