YAKIMA, WA : A 37-year-old Yakima man died after his motorcycle crash on Wednesday, July 12, 2017

The Washington State Patrol said a 37-year-old Yakima man died Wednesday night after his motorcycle crashed in the 1400 block of Weikel Road.

Troopers say David J. Cole was headed south around 10:30 p.m. when his 2008 Yamaha motorcycle went off the road about half a mile north of Summitview Road, about 2 miles southeast of Cowiche.

The State Patrol said the crash occurred on a curve in the road and that speed was a factor.
