Fort Myers, FL : Woman killed in Lehigh crash on Wednesday morning, August 31, 2016

A Lehigh Acres woman was killed after a vehicle crash at the intersection of Homestead Road S and Jaguar Boulevard Wednesday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Pamela Kay Homsher was traveling westbound on Jaguar Boulevard approaching the intersection of Homestead Road S, facing a stop sign. She failed to observe the stop sign and traveled into the intersection, when a second vehicle was attempting to cross it.

The driver in the second vehicle was seriously injured and transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.

Homsher was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Charges are pending in the crash.
