WELLFORD, SC : 2 dead following late-night crash in Wellford on Wednesday, 8th May 2024

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said two people are dead following a late-night crash in Wellford on Wednesday.

According to the coroner, the two-car crash occurred close to midnight near Warren H. Abernathy Boulevard. One person died on scene and the other person was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where she passed away.

Officials identified the person taken to the hospital as 67-year-old Debra Heanu. The victim that passed away on scene was identified as 47-year-old Armando Luis Torres.
