Annapolis, MD : One critically injured in I-95 crash near White Marsh on Wednesday, 31st August, 2016

One person was critically injured in a crash along I-95 near White Marsh Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

The crash took place around 9 a.m. near mile marker 72 on the northbound travel lanes of Interstate 95, where one vehicle overturned, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, which responded to the scene.

A Maryland State police helicopter responded to the scene for a critically injured person, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company said on Twitter.

Southbound traffic on I-95 was slow from Harford into Baltimore counties Wednesday for a separate, minor crash near White Marsh.
