WAILUKU, HI : Motorcyclist, 53, suffers critical injuries in late-night crash in Wailuku on Monday, 6th May 2024

A motorcyclist suffered critical injuries after a late-night crash on Waiehu Beach Road in Wailuku on Monday.

The crash happened just after 11 p.m. on Waiehu Beach Road just to the northwest of Makaala Drive.

According to Maui Police investigators, a 53-year-old man from Wailuku was heading northwest on Waiehu Beach Road on a black 2022 Kawasaki KLR650 motorcycle when he lost control for an unknown reason, causing the bike to fall. The rider was ejected in the fall, suffering critical, life-threatening injuries.
