KENNETT, MO : Man accused of taking vehicle, crashing it twice on Friday, 21st October 2016

Police arrested a Kennett man after they say he took someone’s car and crashed it, not once but twice.

Nuquan Hollywood, 18, is charged with driving while intoxicated-drugs, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, and tampering with a motor vehicle-first degree.

Around 3 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a vehicle crashing into a tree in the 100-block of Central Street, according to a Kennett Police Department post on social media.

When officers arrived, the car had already left the scene.

They found it a few minutes later on the Southside Square.

During their investigation, officers learned the vehicle had crashed into a building on Central Street.

They also discovered Hollywood had taken the car without permission.
